INFORMATION CLAUSE
for applicants to postgraduate studies
at VIZJA University
As of May 25, 2018, the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – hereinafter "Regulation"), are in force. Therefore, pursuant to Article 13(1) and (2) of the Regulation, we would like to provide you with the following information:
Who is the controller of personal data?
The controller of personal data provided by you is VIZJA University ("UV") in Warsaw (01-043), 59 Okopowa St., e-mail address: zgloszenia@vizja.pl.
What is the purpose and legal basis for personal data processing?
Your personal data will be processed solely to the extent and for the purpose necessary for the recruitment process for postgraduate studies, based on your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation.
Are you required to provide your personal data?
Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to participate in the recruitment process, and the consequence of not providing them will be the inability to take part in the recruitment process.
What are the categories of recipients?
The expected categories of recipients of your data are employees of relevant university units authorized by the Data Controller, as well as other entities authorized under applicable law.
What rights do you have?
You have the right to access your submitted data, obtain a copy of it, and request its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, or object to its processing. You also have the right to data portability and the right to withdraw this consent at any time. Consent may be withdrawn in writing submitted to the Data Controller
Can you file a complaint regarding data processing and where?
You have the right to lodge a complaint regarding the processing of personal data with the Supervisory Authority if you consider that the processing of provided data violates the provisions of the Regulation.
How long will your data be processed and stored?
Your personal data will be processed and stored until the end of the recruitment process, and thereafter may be processed and stored for the period of the statute of limitations of any potential claims.
Will your data be processed automatically?
The above data may be processed automatically, including profiling, whereby the processing of the above data will be used, among other things, to evaluate information in the possession of or to be obtained by the Data Controller.
